With the arrival of warmer weather in “MARCH/APRIL”, Nafosa is getting ready for the first cut. This cut signals the start of a new harvest season, which at Nafosa, thanks to the quality of the crop and its maintenance during the winter months, we can perform up to “6 cuts per season”, depending on the weather we experience during this process.
The first cut is characterised by producing forage of high quality and with high technical specifications. About 25 days will have elapsed until the second cut, which will be done on a different product with different characteristics. Therefore, Nafosa will handle the product differently in terms of the dehydration and type of format.
